Yes, both kids and adults can use this product to learn programming and robotic on a self-training basis using online training modules and/or participate to some online training classes for resolving any understanding or technical issues. Kids as early as five years old can use this product to learn the basics of coding. It has very positive impacts on kids mental development (6 positive impacts) as it's evolutionary in STEM program. It's both education and fun/amusement.
You can definitely use this platform (robot & software) as trial based on our 15 days return policy if you purchase or rent the robot. Though for software, the trial period is less than 7 days if you only purchase software license with online training modules.
When you use this product, you will to learn basic of the computer programming such as flow chart, computer instructional codes which are used in many computer programming languages with different syntax in a thoroughly and meaningful way as well as a computer programming language called "Python". You don't necessarily need a teacher or professor to learn this as the robot in fact is playing the role of a trainer by verifying and validating the coding. Therefore, the platform (robot & software) plus training modules are sufficient to accomplish delivery of quality training.
The platform (robot & online training modules) is definitely providing training of robotic at good level but not in advanced level. However, it depends how you define advance level and what criteria you choose for that definition. For advanced level, we have other programs that teaches you a lot more. If you are interested in learning further, then you need to take those programs.
